Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of clipaudit.app ("the Site") and your purchase of ClipAudit licenses from the ClipAudit team ("we", "us"). Use of the ClipAudit application itself is governed by the License Agreement; the source code delivered with a purchase is governed by the MIT License included with it.

1. The Site

The Site is provided as is, with no promise that it is error-free or uninterrupted. You may not use it to attack, overload or probe our systems, or to misuse the activation service.

2. Purchases

Licenses are sold through Polar Software Inc., our merchant of record. Polar is the seller of record for tax and payment purposes and issues your receipt. Prices are shown in US dollars; depending on your country, tax may be added at checkout or shown as included. By completing a purchase you agree to Polar's terms as well as these.

3. Licenses

A license is perpetual for one macOS device and includes one year of updates and the source code. You may move it to another device by deactivating the current one on the activation page. Keys may not be shared, resold or published. Details are in the License Agreement.

4. Refunds

Within 30 days of purchase, for any reason, email support@clipaudit.app with your receipt number and we will refund the full price. Refunds are issued through Polar to the original payment method.

5. Source code

Each purchase includes the complete source code under the MIT License. Your MIT rights to that code are not limited by these terms; the license key, the prebuilt binary and the activation service remain subject to the License Agreement.

6. Disclaimer and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site, the activation service and the App are provided without warranty of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from their use. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the current version is always at this address with its date. These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
